What is phashlet?
phashlet is a button (bookmarklet) you add to your web browser's links toolbar. It is an easy way to generate passwords and put them in the password field of the web page.

What exactly does phashlet do?
phashlet gets the current web page's domain name (from http://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLogin?serv... it will take www.google.com), then using your base password it generates a password and puts it in the web page's password field. The generated password matches phash passwords.

Two types of phashlet:
  1. Defined base password phashlet
    This phashlet is generated per user. The user is required to type in his base password ONCE at generation time.

  2. Undefined base password phashlet
    This phashlet requires the user to type in his base password on every execution. Safest although not easiest.
    Just right-click on phashlet button, choose "Add to favorites", create the link under the "Links" folder and make sure the "Links" toolbar is visible in your web browser.
